如何用英文介绍中国小吃?

《汉书·郦生陆贾列传》中说过:“王者以民人为天,而民人以食为天。”在我们中国,吃的文化由来已久,驰名中外,很多老外对我国各地小吃都是慕名而来。那各地小吃如何用英文说呢,下面由Sharon为大家介绍几个代表性的地方小吃。

一、北京小吃

1、涮羊肉

In Beijing, an international city in China, you can find many kinds of cuisines around the world, while, Shuan Yang Rou, instant-boiled mutton slices, is one of the finger-countable local flavors. The pot of Shuan Yang Rou contains only clear water, and every taste is in a dish of special sesame jam.You fetch a piece of mutton, usually transported from the grassland of Inner Mongolia, with chopsticks, and put it into the boiling water for a little while, then, get it out and put it into the dish of sesame jam, and it is ready to serve.

Tanghulu,sugar coated haws on a stick,is a traditional intersnack in Beijing.Every year,as the weather cools down,tanghulu sales start heating up on almost every street corner in Beijing.It can cure diseases.Hawthorn helps digestion,and perfect skin,so more and more people love to eat it.

冰糖葫芦,用竹签串起来的山楂果裹上一层厚厚的糖衣,是北京传统的冬季零食。每当天气变得寒冷后,卖冰糖葫芦的小贩就开始走街串巷的叫卖。它可以治疗疾病。山楂帮助消化,使皮肤完美,所以越来越多的人喜欢吃它。

3、北京烤鸭

Peking duck is always served in well-cut slices. The whole duck must be sliced into 120 pieces and every piece has to be perfect with the complete layers of the meat. Normally there are many dishes served with the duck, including a dish of fine-cut shallot bars, a dish of cucumber bars and finally a dish of paste-like soy of fermented wheat flour.

4、糖耳朵

Tangerduo literally means sugar ear.It's a fried sweet snack that gets its name from its shape.The popular winter snack in Beijing is served cold and are made of flour and sugar.

5、驴打滚

Lvdagun,a traditional Beijing sweet snack which is made from beans and rice flour.Because when donkey is rolling in the yellow land,its body is covered with dust,as if the paste is wrapped in a yellow flour,it was named Lvdagun.

驴打滚,由豆类和大米面粉的北京传统的甜点。因为当驴在黄色的土地上打滚,它的身体上布满了灰尘,好像被黄色的面粉包裹,所以它被命名为驴打滚。

二、西安小吃

1、羊肉泡馍

Yangrou paomo is the most iconic dish in the Xi’an foodscape. The ritual before eating a paomo is tearing the bread into small pieces yourself before letting the chef turn it into a stew .

羊肉泡馍在西安食品界是最具代表性的小吃。吃羊肉泡馍的规矩是在让厨师把它变成炖菜之前,自己先把馒头撕成小块。

2、肉夹馍

Roujiamo is the city’s favorite burger. A delicious roujiamo is composed of two key elements – juicy shredded braised beef and a crispy baked bread.

肉夹馍是全市最喜欢汉堡。美味的肉夹馍由两要素组成–多汁的肉丝炖牛肉和香脆的烤面包。

3、凉皮

Rice noodles are cooked, cooled and thinly sliced. The noodles are often served in a sauce made of chili oil , pepper powder, vinegar and diced garlic. Then it’s garnished with bean sprouts and sliced cu cumber.

4、biang biang面

Biangbiang noodles – commonly described as resembling a belt, biangbiang noodles are wide, thick and long. One string of noodles can easily fill you up.

1、酥油茶

2、过桥米线

过桥米线由三部分组成:一是汤,二是把每一种肉质细嫩,三是米粉和蔬菜。制汤考究,选用武定强的母鸡,本地老母鸡和猪筒子骨煨制辊,使汤主要是选料讲究,原料与水严格按比例投放,中途不准加水,要用旺火烧开,撇去浮沫,改用小火煨制的变化。经用精盐、味精、胡椒粉调味后,装在碗里注入热鸡油的汤,油浮在汤的表面起保温作用。吃时用大碗,先放入熟鸡油、味精、胡椒面,然后将鸡、鸭、排骨、猪筒子骨等。这味道特别鲜美,营养丰富。

3、烧饵块

Burn the bait is a kind of folk custom of Yunnan local snacks. The cooked rice is pressed into a lump, usually a round pancake. Grilled over charcoal, and then coated with sauce and vegetables can be trapped.

“烧饵块”是云南当地的一种民俗小吃。是用煮熟的大米饭压成块状,通常是圆形薄饼状。在炭火上面烤制,然后涂上酱料和菜陷即可。
